Selma was rescued from Chestnut Farm late December 2018.
She is still a tortured soul and is terrified of humans. Our volunteer says “I had Selma in my room for a week after she was sterilised. She stayed in the corners of the room all the time. One time I was able to scratch her but haven’t done so since. She also allowed me to lie on the bed at the same time with her (me at the bottom, her at the top). Although she is still very scared there has been bits of improvement over the week. She will need a patient and very kind and gentle home to go to for rehabilitation in order to help her enjoy her life adn to see that not all humans are evil”.
Because of her nervousness we have not been able to get a very good picture of Selma yet. The video below is of her and the others on the first night in the volunteer’s bedroom.
