Johnny is a white Jindo-Lab boy who has come a long way. The progress Johnny has made is remarkable. He was rescued in July 2021 along with 18 other dogs from the Goyang Slaughterhouse. Understandably, many of the dogs, including Johnny, were terrified. For several months Johnny was untouchable and would cower in the presence of a human. Dogs like Johnny need time and patience to learn to trust people.
Thanks to the hard work of the very patient Uncle Yong, Johnny now accepts pets, chin scritches (he secretly loves these) and will calmly sit for photos. And most importantly, he can go for walkies!
These walks were crucial to his development and a chance for him to have positive interaction with a person, giving him quiet time, exercise, and fresh air.
Johnny is out on the trail looking for his furever home.
JOHNNY is currently fostered in New Port Richey, FL (near Tampa)
