You can be a flight volunteer! The savings for using flight volunteers versus \u201ccargo freight\u201d is a lot.\u00a0 SKD pays the extra baggage fees for the dogs (you pay if its your own dog) and we take care of everything for you. These arrangements may take a few weeks to coordinate so we will be in touch with you during the process. We\u2019ll let you know who will be meeting you at your destination to pick up the dogs. And if no adopters or fosters are available we\u2019ll also let you know.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Once you\u2019ve booked your flight<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, go ahead and call the airline directly and book the space in the live animal compartment for the maximum allowed dogs. (It doesn\u2019t cost anything to reserve the space). (No crossed out, cut off, or covered up info).\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your airline ticket itinerary with flight number, date and time of departure and arrival.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b>On your day of departure we transport the dogs to the airport (Seoul\/ICN):<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our animal transporter handles the procedure at the airport quarantine office.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>At your destination:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As your plane nears its destination be sure to check \u201clive animal\u201d on the customs form. The dogs will be brought out to you on a cart near the baggage claim or luggage carousel. Present all requested paperwork as you clear customs. YOU MUST HAND OVER THE PAPERS, US ENTRY PERMIT TO A CUSTOMS OFFICER. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Normally dogs are found at the baggage claim, if not please go to the customs and show them the US entry permit we handed over to you. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The foster\/adopter will meet you at\u00a0 the exit to pick up the dog(s)\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That\u2019s it!
