August 5th 2019, a young group of volunteers were protesting at the meat dogs auction site in Gimpo City. This is the place where 400 dogs are traded per day. The news got into ears of the traders and they were closed for the day. One truck came by to sell two puppies and the protesters managed to get them from the trader. The auction is an illegal operation, the young activists called ARK (Animal Rescue Korea) 119  is negotiating with the head of the auction in the presence of city officials.

Two puppies (about 4 month old) came to our hands safely. Will be named, dewormed and vaccinated.
