Yangju City (eastern part of Seoul) is famous for its puppy mills. This is one illegal puppy mill without a license, not authorized by the city. The owner/breeder received a removal order together with fine notice last week. The owner is an old man, he wants to sell them all but we don’t buy dogs. With our partner ARK(Animal Rescue Korea)119 in presence, we finalized the negotiation and came to an agreement that we will take over and pay his fine to the city.
Dr. Han will take 10 from here for local adoption and a couple of local activists will take 2 or 3 out of total 53. It turned out it was total 61. We identified a few more cages at the back hidden. They are all kinds of breed, Shar pie, Poodle, Maltese, Dachshund, Boston Terrier.  Nami went out to pull them Oct 3rd total 21, and the remaining 6 came to join SKD shelter. We will have them up for local adoption. Those came to me are sick and old need lots of medical care.
